I am currently accepting private guitar, ukulele, and songwriting students for lessons in my home studio in Lake Oswego on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please in touch through my contact form.
The Summer 2018 catalog is out for Multnomah Arts Center, and registration for classes is open. My teaching at Multnomah Arts Center has grown considerably during the last few sessions. I've got a wide variety of classes I am offering for children and adults. I love teaching at MAC, and it's a joy to be around so many enthusiastic teachers, artists, and students!
Beginning the fall, we will also be offering ukulele classes for youth and also some new guitar specialty courses. In addition to private students, I am hoping to offer between 10 and 15 classes each session there! Due to my full schedule, I am no longer teaching any guitar out of my home studio.

The new Multnomah Arts Center Winter 2018 Catalog is here. This place is really a treasure of SW Portland, and the variety of classes offered ranges from figure drawing, to memoir writing, to full-blown theatrical productions. Multnomah Arts Center is run by Portland Parks & Recreation, and they do a great job providing arts-related opportunities for people of all ages.
I love teaching at the arts center, and this January my teachiong schedule is expanding. I'm offering guitar classes and lessons, a ukulele class, a songwriting class, and my usual pre-K music classes.

I am very happy to announce that I'll be doing a Dancing With No Shoes On! family music program every third Thursday of the month beginning in September at Happy Valley Public Library. I have done a number of programs at the library over the past few years, and I feel like I have developed a special relationship with the parents and children in this community. I'm thrilled to have this opportunity to get there on a regular basis.
Dates for our program:
I am proud to announce the release of my newest recording, A Whisper in this Town!
Please join us in celebrating the release at Portland's fabulous Fremont Theater with fellow singer/songwriter Scott Gallegos, who is also releasing a new recording. The show is presented by my friend and producer Brud Giles and Fremont Recording. Doors are at 7:00pm. Music is at 8:00pm, with Scott taking the first set. With apologies to my little fans, the show is 21+.
For the first time since college, I'll be fronting a full band. This band features some of Portland's best players including Jeff Anthony, Paul Brainard, Jean-Pierre Garau, and Greg Hyatt - all musicians who contributed to A Whisper in this Town! It's going to be a ton of fun!
No more breaks in our schedule! We'll be doing every Thursday morning at 10:00am at the Village Ballroom now.
We will take a break on holidays. Thanksgiving will be our next day off.
